LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's golf team returns to action this weekend at the highly competitive Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic at the UGA Golf Course in Athens, Ga., beginning on Friday morning.
Action for the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins Friday at 8:30 a.m. with live scoring available throughout the weekend at Golfstat.com. Louisville's first round will begin at 11:15 a.m., pairing off with Arkansas and Vanderbilt.
The tournament field includes eight top-25 teams, led by No. 1 South Carolina. All told, the teams competing in the Liz Murphey feature 28 golfers who have been invited to compete in the 2nd Annual Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship on March 31-April 3.
A familiar five will be in the lineup for the Cardinals with senior Lauren Hartlage, sophomore Hana Ryskova, junior Mairead Martin, sophomore Agustina Gomez-Cisterna and senior Margot Bechadergue.

The senior played well all weekend, closing the tournament by shooting a 5-under-par 211. She opened play on Saturday with rounds of 68 and 72 and carded a 71 on Sunday to equal the school mark.
As a team, the Cardinals finished in a tie for 11th place with Kent State after carding rounds of 285-292-305=882.
