Ryskova Ties for Ninth at the Blessings

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Hana Ryskova tied for ninth overall as the University of Louisville women's golf team tied for sixth place at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational at the Blessings Golf Club on Wednesday.
The Cardinals tied for sixth with Illinois as the teams finished at 42-over-par on one of the nation's most competitive golf courses. Arkansas won the tournament at 9-under-par while UCLA was second and Texas Tech was third.
Ryskova posted her best finish of the fall by carding a 2-over-par 218. She was consistent over the week, shooting 71-74-73=218. Kendall Griffin tied for 20th overall after she rounds totaled an eight-over-par 224. Lauren Thibodeau tied for 32nd after she carded a 14-over-par 230 and Carmen Griffith tied for 41st at 19-over-par. Mairead Martin rounded out the top five in 47th place after she totaled 24-over-par.
The Cardinals return to action on Oct. 11-12 at the Illinois Invitational.
