
Louisville Lacrosse Closes Fall Competition on Sunday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. Â--Â University of Louisville women's lacrosse closes out its fall season this Sunday, Oct. 24 with a second home tournament at UofL Lacrosse Field.

 Sunday's five-team, day long tournament will feature Marquette, Butler, Kennesaw State and Indianapolis. The Cardinals will play the first game of the day, taking on Marquette at 9 am. Next, they will face off against Butler at 1 pm before playing the final two games of the day against Kennesaw at 4 pm and UIndy at 4 pm.

Each team will play three games, broken down to four 12-minute quarters. There will be two-minute intervals between each quarter and a short intermission between each game.

All games are free and open to the public to attend.

Louisville was recently tabbed No. 21 in USA Lacrosse Magazine's Early 2022 rankings. The team will use its fall ball schedule to improve and build chemistry as a unit with 10 new freshmen joining the squad.Â
