UofL Men’s Basketball Leads Voter Registration Drive

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's basketball team will participate in a voter registration drive on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Shawnee Park basketball courts located at 4501 West Broadway in Louisville.

The team will be present at the event to encourage eligible individuals to register to vote and staff will assist in the registration process. The deadline to register is Oct. 5 to vote in the Nov. 3, 2020 general election, just two days after the weekend event. To register at the Shawnee Park event, individuals should know their social security number, date of birth, address and Kentucky driver's license number.

There will be limited, distanced interaction with team members due to COVID-19 protocols. Attendees must wear a mask and maintain social distancing of six-feet of space from other people.
