
Men's Tennis Team Adds Kyle Tang

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville head coach Rodrigo da Silva has announced that Kyle Tang will join the Cardinals in the fall of 2020.
"Kyle is great competitor with a ton of potential," said da Silva. "We are extremely happy to bring him to Louisville and we are looking forward to take his tennis to new levels."
Tang, a native of Hong Kong, brings an impressive resume to Louisville after reaching as high as No. 246 in the ITF Junior rankings. The Bruguera Tennis Academy product was a finalist in 11 singles or doubles tournaments. Some of his career highlights include winning the Boys Singles title at the ITF Junior Tournament in Fiji and reaching the singles finals of ITF tournaments in Nepal, Amman and Skopje in 2019.
Additionally, he captured doubles titles at ITF events in China (2019), Amman (2019), Mauritus (2017). He posted doubles runner-up finish at the Sanchel-Casal Junior Cup and ITF tournaments in Barcelona, Antalya, Turkey, Singapore, Nepal and Hong Kong.
