With the 2020 spring semester recently completed, we will continue our player check-in series with the University of Louisville men's tennis team. Up next is Randy Wilson.
As the Cardinals' shortened 2020 season ended on March 12, the freshman had complied an 11-9 overall record in singles and 3-2 in dual match play while splitting time ast Nos. 4, 5 and 6. In the fall, Wilson won the 'A' singles flight of the PRC Collegiate Invite Wilson. He also collected five doubles wins.

What do you do in your downtime?
Do schoolwork and watch tennis highlights.
How are you communicating with teammates, coaches, etc.?
We are all talking via FaceTime or text messaging.
Are you doing any sorts of workouts from home?
Yes, we have been doing homework outs to keep our bodies in shape.
Do you have a favorite "binge" show or series that you are watching?
Not at the moment.
What is your favorite quote, saying or motto?
The mind is everything.
Do you play an instrument, sing, speak multiple languages or have an unusual skill/hobby?
I know pretty much everything about airplanes.
How do you think your friends would describe you?
Funny, hard-working, nice, and outgoing.
What is your favorite social media platform?
Instagram
What words of support or encouragement would you send fellow student-athletes?
We're going get through this, and when we do comeback, we are going to come back stronger!
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Roger Federer and because of how plays the game and he is very humble and a nice person overall that everyone loves.
What are some of the top moments/favorite memories from your career so far?
Playing with Roger Federer at the Miami Open 2019.
If you could play any sport other than tennis, what would it be?
Baseball.
