Throughout the spring we will check in with the players on the University of Louisville men's tennis teams as they complete the spring semester online. Next up is junior Tin Chen.
As the Cardinals' season ended, Chen had complied a 21-7 overall record in singles with a 6-4 mark in dual matches at the No. 1 spot. He paired with teammate Matthew Fung in doubles with an overall record of 6-3.

What do you do in your downtime?
I study and get physically prepared for the next season.
How are you communicating with teammates, coaches, etc.?
My teammates and I have a group chat and we have a weekly meeting with our coaches.
Are you doing any sorts of workouts from home?
Yes, I will do my workout every day.
Do you have a favorite "binge" show or series that you are watching?
No, I haven't watched movie or show yet.
What is your favorite quote, saying or motto?
When you think you got it, and you don't got it.
Do you play an instrument, sing, speak multiple languages or have an unusual skill/hobby?
I would like to learn some new things, but I haven't decided yet on what to do.
How do you think your friends would describe you?
I am a serious and hard working person.
What is your favorite social media platform?

Who is your favorite athlete and why?
I like Nishikari Kia, because he is a best player from Asia.
What are some of the top moments/favorite memories from your career so far?
I have won the regional championship
If you could play any sport other than tennis, what would it be?
I like to play golf as well.
