Throughout the remainder of the 2020 spring semester, we will check in with the players on the University of Louisville men's tennis teams as they complete their semesters online. Next up is sophomore Marcus Sulen.
As the Cardinals' season ended, Sulen had registered singles wins against players from Michigan State and Florida Gulf Coast and teamed with Juan Paredes and Randy Wilson for doubles victories against Memphis and Florida Gulf Coast.

What do you do in your downtime?
I do homework and workout at my house.
How are you communicating with teammates, coaches, etc.?
Through calls and social media.
Are you doing any sorts of workouts from home?
Yes, doing weights and pushups/situps.
Do you have a favorite "binge" show or series that you are watching?
All American, which is about a poor football player who trying to get to the NFL.
What is your favorite quote, saying or motto?
"1% better."
Do you play an instrument, sing, speak multiple languages or have an unusual skill/hobby?
I am a talented Fortnite player
How do you think your friends would describe you?
A person who they can rely on and trust.
What is your favorite social media platform?

What words of support or encouragement would you send fellow student-athletes?
Do your best and have a goal you want to achieve.
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Roger Federer, because he´s a role model on and off the court. He is a guy everyone wants to become. He is also the greatest of all time in tennis.
What are some of the top moments/favorite memories from your career so far?
When I lost a close three setter against the number one in the world during the U14 European Championships.
If you could play any sport other than tennis, what would it be?
Soccer, played it for 12 years and was very good at it.
