No. 10/19 Cardinals Set to Host Louisville First-Chance Invitational

Swimmers will use this meet to achieve qualifying times for postseason competition.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The No. 10/19 University of Louisville men's and women's swim teams will host the Louisville Invitational on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14-15 at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.

Prelims will begin each day at 10 a.m. with finals starting at 6 p.m. This will serve as a first chance meet for swimmers to race and post qualifying times for the postseason.

Swimmers from Miami Ohio and Tennessee will also be competing this weekend.

About the Cardinals
History was made last season for the Cardinals as they became the first ACC program in history to have both its men's and women's teams finish among the top-five in the team standings at the NCAA Championships in the same year. The women's team recorded their highest finish in program history with a fourth-place showing at NCAAs while the men's team finished a program-high fifth place. The Cardinal men were the team runners-up at the ACC Championships and the women secured third place.
