Cards open new era under head coach Rodrigo da Silva
The University of Louisville men's tennis team will open the 2019-20 fall season this weekend when the Cardinals travel to South Bend, Ind., for the Bobby Bayliss Invitational which will take place Sept. 20-22.
The tournament will feature more than 60 players from 10 different schools including: Cleveland State, Duke, Illinois, Louisville, Marquette, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Western Michigan, and Wisconsin. The format will include three singles flights and one flight of doubles.
This weekend marks the beginning of a new era under new UofL head coach Rodrigo da Silva. The Cardinals registered a 16-13 record in 2019 and return eight letterwinners from last year while welcoming five newcomers.
