
Hartlage Named Preseason All-American by Golfweek

The senior was named to the Golfweek All-American Second Team
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The list of national accolades continues to grow for University of Louisville women's golf Lauren Hartlage, as she has been named to the Preseason All-American Second Team by Golfweek.
The senior enters her final season with the Cardinals after earning Golfweek All-American Honorable Mention honors the last two seasons. She is a three-time All-ACC Women's Golf Team honoree and three-time WGCA All-America Scholar, in addition to being named to the All-ACC Academic Team.
During the summer, Hartlage won her U.S. Women's Amateur Sectional Qualifier. At the U.S. Am, she finished third during stroke play, before going on to win her first match play event during the round of 64.
Last season, she led the Cardinals with a 72.60 stroke average, which ranks third all-time in program history. She finished her junior campaign 49th in the Golfstat NCAA Division I player rankings and 61st in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. She opened up the spring season by earning medalist honors at the Moon Golf Invitational for her second collegiate victory.
The Louisville women's golf team kicks off the 2019-20 season at the Minnesota Invitational Sept. 9-10 in Woodbury, Minnesota.
