April 17, 2019 | Men's Tennis
The Cardinals earned the 11-seed and will play No. 6 Georgia Tech.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team earned the No. 11 seed in the 2019 ACC Men's Tennis Championship and will meet No. 6 Georgia Tech in the second-round on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C. The winner of Thursday's match will advance for a matchup with third-seeded North Carolina in the quarterfinals on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
"We look forward to playing at Cary, N.C. and the ACC Championships," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "The conference and Brandon Neff do a great job with this event and I know how much Sean and the Cary Tennis Park love to host it. Georgia Tech has had a good season and they beat us at their place a couple of weeks ago. I know my players will be motivated about getting a second shot at them and trying to advance in the ACC Tournament."
