
Zuska Leads Cardinals into a tie for Second at the Seminole Intercollegiate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â Jiri Zuska fired a 6-under-par 138 to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team into a tie for second place after two rounds of the Seminole Intercollegiate at Golden Eagle Country Club on Saturday.
Jacksonville is the 36-hole leader at 12-under, followed by Louisville and West Virginia at 7-under and Wake Forest at 6-under. Â Â

After opening play with a 1-over-par 289, the Cardinals responded by firing an 8-under-par 280 to sit just five shots off the lead heading into Sunday's final round.
Zuska opened the tournament with a 2-under-par 70, but immediately came back with a 4-under-par 68 to move into second place just three shots off the lead. Cincinnati's Austin Squires is the clubhouse leader after a 9-under-par 135.

Matthias Schmid is the second UofL player in the top 10 after firing a 3-under-par 141. He opened play by carding a 1-over-par 73, but responded by shooting a 4-under-par 68.

John Murphy and Devin Morley are are tied for 38thafter shooting a 2-over-par 146 and Simon Zach stands in a tie 59thafter his two-round score of 153.

Playing as an individual, Trevor Johnson is tied for 53rdwith a 7-over-par 151.
The Seminole Intercollegiate concludes Sunday with the final round at the Golden Eagle Country Club.
