LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Â Louisville opens its 10th season at home in the KFC Yum! Center as the Cardinals face the Youngstown State Penguins on Sunday in the first game of the Global Sports Shootout. It is the first of five straight at home and first of three straight Sundays in which UofL will play home games. A 2019-20 team photo poster will be available to the first 10,000 fans.

Louisville played its earliest season opener ever in winning 87-74 at ACC foe Miami on Tuesday as five Cardinals scored in double figures. UofL shot well from all areas (.540 FG%, .474 3FG%, .714 FT%) and led by as many as 32 points in the second half.

Louisville has won its last 18 consecutive home openers. UofL has won 50 straight home games in the month of November spanning the last 28 years, including a 37-0 record in the KFC
Yum! Center.

Youngstown State (1-0) opened its season on Nov. 5 with a commanding 101-53 home victory over
Thiel as Darius Quisenberry led the Penguins with 16 points and six assists. YSU shot 52.6 percent from the field while limiting Thiel to 32.3 percent accuracy as six players scored in double figures.

YSU is No. 213 in the Kenpom rankings through Nov. 5. Predicted to finish sixth in the Horizon League this season, YSU produced a 12-20 overall record a year ago and the Penguins return 10 letterwinners, including five starters. Sophomore Darius Quisenberry, who averaged 13.8 points,
2.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, was honored as a preseason All-Horizon League second team selection.
