Chen Falls in First Round of ITA National Fall Championships

Tin Chen finishes the fall season with a 14-2 singles record
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - The University of Louisville's Tin Chen lost his opening match at the 2019 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships Wednesday at the Newport Beach Tennis Club.
The junior from Pintung, Taiwan fell 6-4, 6-0 to the tournament's overall No. 2 seed, No. 20-ranked Keegan Smith. He finished the fall season with a 14-2 overall record after becoming the first player in program history to capture the singles title at the ITA/Ohio Valley Regional Championship.
