The specific dates and times for the intrasquad scrimmages as well as the Pizza Bowl will be announced each week. Along with the matchup with WKU, Louisville will also host an open scrimmage against Indiana on Sept. 29 with the time to be announced after the kickoff time for the Louisville-FSU football game is determined.
Louisville entered the fall with returning seven starters in the batting order as well as 10 pitchers from last year's squad, which finished with a 45-19 record after advancing to the championship round of an NCAA Regional for the seventh straight season. Louisville also registered its seventh straight 40-win season and the 11th in 12 seasons under head coach Dan McDonnell.
