Lauren Hartlage earned the distinction for the second-consecutive year.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville's Lauren Hartlage on Friday was selected to the all-Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Golf Team in a vote by the league's 12 head coaches.
Hartlage earned the distinction for the second-consecutive year and is the 14th golfer in program history named to an all-conference team at least twice in their career.
The sophomore is pacing the Cardinals with a 72.06-stroke average, the best season mark in school history. She has accumulated 17 rounds even or below par, tied with Cindy LaCrosse for No. 1 on the school's single-season chart. Hartlage also leads Louisville in top-10 finishes, as her seven are tied with LaCrosse for the second most in a season.
The Elizabethtown, Ky., native registered her first collegiate victory in the fall, winning the Cardinal Cup. Hartlage shattered the tournament record and tied for the second-best 54-hole tournament score in school history, shooting a 10-under-par 206 for the win.
Hartlage opened the 2017-18 campaign with a 7-under-par 209 at the Minnesota Invitational, carding consecutive rounds in the 60s to open the event. Seven of her nine career rounds in the 60s were achieved this season.
The Cardinals return to action early next week, when they compete in their fifth-consecutive NCAA Regional Championship. Including Hartlage, Louisville plays Monday through Wednesday at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, Calif., with the top six teams advancing to the NCAA Championships in Oklahoma.
