
Women's Lacrosse Hosts Virginia Tech on Saturday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville women's lacrosse (6-6, 0-3) returns to UofL Lacrosse Stadium for a conference matchup against No. 17 Virginia Tech on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.

The Cardinals are 6-6 on the season and looking to notch their first conference win in the Teeter era. Â

On Wednesday, Louisville fell at Brown despite jumping out to an early two-goal lead.

Madison Hoover was the top performer for the Cardinals against the Bears, scoring a hat trick in the first half, while adding two assists.

Alex McNicholas continued her strong showing in the center circle, winning six of the team's 10 draw controls during the game. Â
