Cards take on Clemson Friday, Georgia Tech and Samford Sunday. Fans encouraged to wear pink to promote breast cancer awareness Sunday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team will conclude a five- match home stand this weekend at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. The Cardinals will take on Clemson in an ACC matchup Friday at 3:30 p.m. On Sunday, Louisville will host Georgia Tech for another league match followed by a 5 p.m. contest against Samford. Fans are encouraged to wear pink on Sunday to help promote breast cancer awareness.
Â
"This is an important weekend for us hosting Clemson, Georgia Tech and Samford," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "Clemson knows a lot about the philosophy of Louisville tennis since Clemson head coach, John Boetsch, was my former assistant in 2007-08. We have lost to Georgia Tech the last three times we have played them so that match is also pivotal. Lastly, Samford is an ambitious team, we will need some of our reserve players to step up and execute since that will be our third match of the weekend."
