Volleyball Releases Spring Slate

The University of Louisville volleyball team has announced its spring schedule that will feature a home match in Cardinal Arena and a college showcase at nearby OVVC as well as a pair of matches against regional rivals.

The Cards will open the slate with a trip to Lexington to take on rival Kentucky on March 25 at 4 p.m.in Memorial Coliseum. Louisville will then face Tennessee on March 30 in Knoxville at 6 p.m.

UofL will compete in the KIVA College Showcase at the Ohio Valley Volleyball Center. The other participants have not been finalized.

The Cardinals will end their spring competition with a match against Butler in Cardinal Arena at 6:30 p.m. on April 14. UofL fans are invited and there will be no admission charge.

The Cardinals are coming off an ACC Championship and their 26^th appearance in the NCAA Championship Tournament. UofL graduated four-year starters Tess Clark, Maggie DeJong and Gabbie Wiley and Coline Coessens. Starters Amanda Green, Molly Sauer, and Melanie McHenry as well as starter Jasmine Bennett, Illinois transfer Marijke Van Dyke and middle blocker Piper Roe recently returned from the 2018 U.S. Women's National Team open tryout on March 2-4 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
