No. 24 Cardinals Set to Host Miami and Florida State

ACC Action continues
The No. 24-ranked University of Louisville  volleyball team remains at home this week, as the Cards will host a pair of games with two ACC rivals from the Sunshine State in Miami and Florida State. The Cards will host Miami on Friday at 7 p.m. and will take on the Seminoles of Florida State on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Cardinal Arena.
The Cardinals own a mark of 17-6 overall, including a 10-2 record in ACC conference play. UofL came away with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-23) victory over Boston College last Friday, but fell short 3-2 (25-21, 18-25, 25-17,18-25, 13-15) in a loss to Syracuse on Sunday, their first home ACC loss in two seasons.
On offense, junior Melanie McHenry leads the Cards with 311 kills on the year, while Jasmine Bennett returns to the lineup and leads the team with a .405 hitting percentage. Wilma Rivera continues to rake in the assists, accumulating 956 this season. Defensively, senior leader Molly Sauer has 370 digs on the year, while freshman Emily Scott continues to lead the team in total blocks, having accumulated 73 thus far.
Miami
The Canes come into town with a mark of 13-6 overall, and a conference record of 9-3. Last week, Miami finished up a 4-match homestand, winning a tight 3-2 (30-28, 23-25, 22-25, 25-18, 19-17) contest at home over Florida State on Wednesday, before sweeping Virginia Tech 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-16) on Friday. The Canes are led offensively by Chloe Brown, who has 76 kills on the year, and by Haley Templeton, who has 242 assists. The team is led defensively by Emily Damon, who has accumulated 85 digs this season, and by Bridget Wallenberger, who has 30 total blocks.
Florida State
The Seminoles of FSU enter the week at 14-8, with a conference mark of 10-2. The 'Noles, as mentioned, lost to in-state rival Miami last week, before also sweeping the Hokies of Virginia Tech in a 3-0 decision (25-20, 25-17, 25-23) on Sunday. Payton Caffrey leads the 'Noles on offense with 341 kills on the year, while Brianne Burkert has accumulated a team-high 493 assists on the year. Kelsey Wicinski leads the team defensively with 345 digs, along with Taryn Knuth, who has 132 total blocks.
