Both Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Appear in Top 15 in Latest Poll

Cards take on Kentucky on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Ralph Wright Natatorium; Diving Begins at Noon
The University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving teams were each ranked among the top-25 in the nation in the latest TYR/Collegiate Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division I poll, which was released on January 17. The Louisville women received the nod at No.10, while the men checked in at No. 14.

Both Louisville squads rank second among ACC schools inside the top-25. On the women's side, No. 8 Virginia leads all ACC schools, followed by Louisville, No. 14 NC State, No. 21 North Carolina, No. 22 Notre Dame, No. 24 Virginia Tech, and No. 25 Florida State. The sixth-ranked NC State Wolfpack lead the ACC for the men, followed by the Cardinals, No. 19 Virginia Tech, No. 20 Florida State, No. 22 Notre Dame, and No. 23 Virginia.

In their final dual meets of the season, the Cardinals will welcome a pair of ranked opponents to the Ralph Wright Natatorium. On Saturday, Louisville takes on the Kentucky Wildcats, who are ranked No. 14 on the women's side and were receiving votes on the men's side. The Cardinals will then host Indiana on Friday, January 26 for their senior meet. The Indiana women were tabbed as the seventh-ranked team in the nation, while the undefeated men earned the No. 3 spot.

On Saturday's meeting with Kentucky at Ralph Wright Natatorium, diving is slated to begin at 12 p.m., one hour prior to the start of the swimming competition at 1 p.m.
