Three top eight performances on final day.
University of Louisville swimmers had three swimmers in the top eight of the only event contested on the final day of competition Sunday morning at the TYR Pro Series in Austin, Texas.

Sophie Cattermole finished fourth in the 1500M freestyle with a time of 16:45.74 in the women's event.

Marcelo Acosta touched 7th in the men's 1500 M free with a time of 15:43.43. Right behind him was freshman T.C .Smith, who went 1:48.35 for eighth. Graham Barrett was 18th, boarding a time of 16:23.46.

Next up for the Cardinals is a dual meet versus intrastate rival Kentucky on Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. in the Ralph Wright Natatorium.
