Lancaster, Morin-Kougoucheff and Rouanet named ITA Scholar Athletes
Three University of Louisville men's tennis players have been named 2017 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes.
Rising junior Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff earned the honor for the second straight season while fellow rising junior Brandon Lancaster and rising senior Nicolas Rouanet were also named to the list. In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner with a GPA of at least 3.50 and have been enrolled at their current school for at least two semesters.
"Part of our mission statement for the men's tennis program is to be excellent students," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "It is important to us and Nicolas, Chris and Brandon are three student-athletes that have bought into that."
