Men's Tennis July Update: Moe Wins Herrer Grand Prix Doubles Title
July 10, 2017 | Men's Tennis
Fredrik Moe is honing his tennis game this summer
The University of Louisville's Fredrik Moe recently captured the doubles title of the Herrer Grand Prix in his hometown of Moss, Norway.
"I am happy for Freddy and how hard he is working," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "He has taken the growth in his game from his freshman year to take another level this summer. He understands that real improvement can only be measured in tournament play. He wants to contribute more next season and it shows."
Moe, a rising sophomore teamed with Rana-Roop Singh Bhullar to defeat Ole Henaes and Jacob Wilhelm Krefting 6-1, 6-4 and followed with a 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 victory over top-seeded Christian Ludvik Fjeldstad and Eirik Sars Groner.
