Cardinals Swimmers Send Six to Finals at World Championships Trials

Four head to A final, including top seed Kelsi Worrell
University of Louisville swimming will send six swimmers to the finals tonight after this morning's prelims at the 2017 U.S. Nationals & World Championship Trials which began Tuesday with competition ending on  Saturday,July 1 at the  IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

UofL's A-finalists are Kelsi Worrell, Mallory Comerford, Andrea Cottrell and Zach Harting. Rachael Bradford Feldman and Nick Albiero will be in B-finals.

- Rachael Bradford Feldman qualified 10th in the 400M IM with a time of 4:45.16.
- Keegan Foulke boarded a 4:29.85 in the 400M IM in prelims.
- Jarrett Jones went 4:31.84 in the 400M IM.
- Kelsi Worrell is the top seed in the 100M Fly, throwing down a 57.40, almost a second ahead of the field.
- Â Mallory Comerford qualified 4th in 100M Fly with a 58.61 to make the second Card in the A-final
- Hannah Magnuson put up a 1:00.75 in the 100M Fly in prelims
- Grace Oglesby was into the wall in 1:00.79 in the 100M Fly
- Zach Harting has the 8th fastest time of 53.16 in a 100M fly field and then won a swim-off to grab the spot in the A-final.
- Nick Albiero in the mix, qualifying 11th with a time of 53.25 in the 100M fly!
- Andrea Cottrell put up a 31.13 in the 50M Breast and qualifies fifth.
