Cards conclude four-match ACC road stretch
The No. 39 University of Louisville men's tennis team will wrap up a stretch of four straight ACC road matches this weekend when the Cards travel to Clemson for a Friday matchup and then face top-ranked Wake Forest Sunday.

"This is our second to last weekend of ACC tennis and we want to get the best possible seeding for the ACC Championship," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "Both of these teams beat us last season and we have something to prove. We also want to start peaking at this time of the season."

About Louisville: The Cardinals enter the weekend an 18-5 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the ACC
• Last weekend, Louisville defeated host NC State 4-3 and fell 4-3 to No. 17 Georgia Tech
• The Cards recently moved up one spot to No. 39 in the most recent ITA team rankings released on April 11.
• Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff stands at No. 118 nationally in singles, marking his second straight week in the ITA rankings. The sophomore holds down the No. 1 spot in singles and had tallied a 20-12 overall record while going 9-7 in dual matches.
• The duo of senior Sean Donohue and freshman Parker Wynn stands
at No. 51 in the most recent ITA doubles rankings. The pair has compiled a 20-5 overall record including a 14-5 tally at No. 1.
• Wynn leads the Cardinals with a 35-9 overall singles record and is 19-3 in dual matches playing mostly at Nos. 2 and 3. He has won nine of his last 10 matches. Wynn is currently fifth on Louisville's list for single season victories and needs one more to move into a tie for fourth. Sebastian Stiefelmeyer owns the single season record with 42 set in 2015.
• Sophomore Brandon Lancaster is 27-10 in singles and carries a 16-5 mark in dual matches while playing mostly at No. 5.
• Donohue leads the Cards in doubles with a 27-8 overall record.
• Louisville is 16-2 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center with its only losses of the season coming at the hands of No. 1 Virginia and No. 29 Florida State.
• Head coach Rex Ecarma is in his 27th season at UofL and has compiled a 441-288 overall record.
