Today we catch up with junior Taylor Webster
Throughout the summer, GoCards.com will be catching up with members of the Louisville lacrosse team. Today's installment features junior Taylor Webster.
What is your favorite thing about summer vacation?
My favorite thing about summer vacation is being with my family. The school year is hard for any college student that is away from home, and my family is super close so I miss them. Eating dinner at my Nana's and waffles at my Grandma's. I also enjoy random lunch dates with my Mom and Dad and heart to hearts with my sister and cousin are some of my favorite things about summer.
If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would it be and why?
If I could go anywhere on vacation it would be Thailand or South France. I love trying new foods and the seafood in both of these places are out of this world. Plus I love beachy and cute towns and I think this is what both these places are.
What is your favorite vacation memory?
My favorite vacation memory would be watching the sunset rise on Martha's Vineyard with my family. (With coffee and donuts sorry)
What have you been doing so far this summer?
So far I've been home with my family and then back here in Louisville taking a class and doing team workouts with some of my teammates.
Best Memory at Louisville so far in your career?
Best Memory so far has to be when we beat Norte Dame in double overtime during the season. So great.
What is your goal for the upcoming season?
To win as many games as possible and keep good team mindsets throughout the season.
Favorite thing to do in Louisville?
Favorite thing to do in Louisville is try new restaurants with my friends watch Netflix.
What is your favorite thing about the sport of lacrosse?
My favorite thing about lacrosse is that it keeps evolving. For a lot of sports I think the sport has stayed the same over the years, but lacrosse keeps changing the rules keep changing. I enjoy the newness and the opportunity to keep learning as a player.
