Hey there Cards fans!
Eleni Georgiafandis here and it is my turn on the Volleyblog!Â

Day 2 of Preseason started out like any other with walking through the door to the smell of burnt toast and oatmeal. The team sat patiently while Maggie DeJong and I presented the handy dandy new handbooks to all.
The first session was straight fire with everyone bringing loads of energy and focus. We ended with a lovely serving drill and then off to lift we went. After lift we got to eat lunch at the BEAUTIFUL new Thornton's academic center complete with a salad bar, smoothies, yogurt bar, gourmet food and ....wait for it..... unlimited chocolate milk.
We were pretty stoked.
After lunch we all headed down to the KFC Yum! Center to film a clip for our pregame video. (Tune in to our instagram for behind the scenes bloopers.) Our second session was full of competition which is our favorite part of practice. We topped off the evening with another delicious dinner at Thorntons (and chocolate milk) and a quick educational session on our defensive strategies.Â

I absolutely cannot wait for y'all to see this team in action. We are scrappy, feisty, and hungry to defend our 2015 title.
Thank you to all our fans for your incredible amount of love and support. We love you guys and cannot wait to give you all a great season.
