Senior Day Spotlight on Jeffrey Brown
On Sunday, April 17, the University of Louisville men's tennis team will honor seniors Jeffrey Brown and Alex Gornet in their final match at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. In on a senior spotlight presentation, Brown reflects on his career at Louisville.
Jeffrey Brown
Senior Jeffrey Brown joined the Cardinals from Mandeville, La., and worked his way into a starting role. Entering the weekend, he has amassed 66 singles victories and 83 doubles wins. Included among his accomplishments were winning the 2014 Indiana Hoosier Classic Singles championship and the B Doubles title at the Wake Forest Invitation in 2014.
• In addition to being a team co-captain, he is also a member of Louisville's Student Athlete Advisory Council
The Exercise Science major earned academic honors in three different conferences – he was named to ACC Academic honor roll, and American Athletic Conference All-Academic team in 2014 and was a BIG EAST academic team member. He is also an ITA Scholar-Athlete in 2014 and a five-time Athletic Director's honor roll selection
