Cards post NCAA B cuts
LOUISVILLE, Ky. –The University of Louisville men's and women's swimming and diving teams made three NCAA 'B' cuts on Friday night against North Carolina at Ralph Wright Natatorium. The men (110-57) and women (93-74) both lead the Tar Heels after the first session.
Â
"It was a good first day." said UofL head coach Arthur Albiero. "Some really good things happened. I think we gave a couple things away that we didn't have to and it creates a much tighter meet tomorrow on the women's side. The men have been very impressive today in a lot of different areas, not just really the one or two scorers, but the depth of it today. I am very impressed with that. That's what a two-day meet does. Today is over and we have to bounce back and be ready to go tomorrow morning, which is a great preparation for championship time. That's a good challenge for our group to be ready and it's going to be a heck of a day tomorrow. These guys are going to comeback for us, so we're ready."
