Freshman: Silvia became an immediate scoring threat for the Cardinals in her debut season, adding depth in both the 100 and 200 breast. At ACCs, she scored 38 points, placing eighth in the 100 breast (1:00.58) and 11th in the 200 breast (2:12.40). At the UofL Invitational, she raced to a third place finish in the 100 breast (1:02.98), while also taking third in the 200 breast (2:13.16). At the Arena Pro Swim Series in Mesa, Silvia placed in the top-16 in both the 100-meter breast (1:14.16) and the 200-meter breast (2:38.98). During the dual meet season, she recorded a first place finish in the 100 breast (1:04.48) and a second place finish in the 200 breast (2:19.97) in the win over Xavier. Against Kentucky, she finished second in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke distances.
