Hartlage Tied for 10th, Women’s Golf Tied for Fifth at Cardinal Cup

Lauren Hartlage shot a 2-over-par 74 and moved into a tie for 10th through two rounds.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Lauren Hartlage is tied for 10th with a 7-over-par 151, and the University of Louisville women's golf team is tied for fifth on Monday through at the Cardinal Cup in Simpsonville, Ky.
Hartlage shot a 2-over-par 74 in the second round, putting the freshman in contention for her second top-10 showing this season. She logged three bogeys on the day, but countered one with a birdie on No. 6. Through 36 holes, she has 25 pars.
Collectively, the Cardinals posted a 19-over-par 307 in the second round and own a 37-over-par 613. Louisville, which is tied with East Carolina in the team standings, trails the clubhouse leader Florida State (17-over-par 593) by 20 strokes heading into the last day of competition.
Sophomore Olivia Cason is tied for 14th following her 6-over-par 78. She is among the leaders in par-5 scoring (4.75) and totaled three of her four birdies on Monday.
Shannon Gramley (12-over-par 156) is tied for 37th, and Molly Skapik (13-over-par 157) is tied for 45th.
Meghan Nay is pacing the Louisville Red team, which is in 16th. The redshirt freshman shot a season-best 2-over-par 74 and is tied for 26th behind a 10-over-par 154.
The 17-team field concludes the event on Tuesday, with a 9:30 a.m. ET shotgun start.
