Courtney Lock reached the doubles semifinals of the Zimbabwe Futures Tournament
The University of Louisville's Courtney Lock has continued to hone his tennis game over the summer with some impressive doubles results at the Zimbabwe Futures Tournament.
"Courtney is putting a tremendous amount of work in this summer," said UofL men's tennis coach Rex Ecarma. "You can see he was improving in his last month of training in our post-season and is competing 2 levels better than he was at this time last year."
While competing in doubles with his brother, the rising sophomore from Harare, Zimbabwe advanced to the semifinals. The pair registered straight-set wins in the first round and quarterfinals before falling in three sets in the semifinal match.
