Gornet Wins Winston-Salem Futures Wildcard Open

With the 2015 season in the books University of Louisville's Alex Gornet has continued to hone his tennis skills as the summer progress. The upcoming senior opened his summer competition by winning three straight matches to claim the Winston-Salem Futures Wildcard Open May 25-28.
"Alex is beginning his summer in haste," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "He understands that Sebastian and the seniors have graduated and next year falls on his shoulders. This is a good tournament and showing for Alex as he tries to build up his momentum this summer. He is a great example for the few returners we have on the team."
