The University of Louisville men's tennis incoming freshman class for the 2015-16 season has been ranked No. 23 according to TennisRecruiting.net. George Hedley, Brian Tsao, Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff, Michael Quang, Brandon Lancaster comprise the incoming freshman class and will be eligible to compete in the fall of 2015.
"It is nice to have our recruiting class ranked in the top 25 after the fall and spring signing periods," said UofL men's tennis coach Rex Ecarma. "I spent a lot of time last summer at so many tournaments and the hard work paid off. With six great seniors graduating it will be up to this class to keep us in the national rankings and competitive in the ACC. This class has players with a variety of skill sets that should fit the needs of our team. They come at a great time since almost every starting position is up for grabs. It will be exciting to see which guys are ready to compete and win. They are future of Cardinal Tennis."
The Cardinals return five letterwinners from the 2015 team which posted a 23-9 record and made its 11th overall NCAA appearance. Louisville graduated six seniors including All-American Sebastian Stiefelmeyer and fellow All-ACC selection Albert Wagner.
