ACC TV Schedule Includes 23 Louisville Baseball Games

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville baseball team has 23 regular season games slated for national and regional television coverage in 2015 as part of the Atlantic Coast Conference TV schedule released on Monday.
The Cardinals will make two appearances on ESPNU for "ACC Monday" matchups at Virginia on April 6 and at Clemson on May 4. Louisville will have 19 regular season games televised on ESPN3, including 16 at Jim Patterson Stadium. Additionally, the Cardinals will have two road games televised by the Regional Sports Network - May 2 at Clemson and May 16 at NC State.
Each of the first 14 games of the ACC Championship on May 19-23 in Durham, N.C., will be televised by the Regional Sports Network, while the ACC Championship title game on May 24 at 1 p.m., ET will be carried by ESPN2. All of Louisville's remaining 17 home games not selected for national or regional television will be available for viewing through CardsTV at GoCards.com.
Overall, a conference record 147 baseball games are among the record 271 spring events included in the 2015 broadcast schedule released by the ACC on Monday. A total of 239 ACC spring contests will appear on ESPN networks including one on ESPN, one on ESPN2, and 27 on ESPNU. An additional 32 games will appear on the league's regional sports networks, which includes Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolinas, Fox Sports Florida, Sun Sports, Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Midwest, Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic, New England Sports Network (NESN), the YES Network, the Madison Square Garden Network (MSG) in New York and Root Sports in Pennsylvania.
In addition to the 271 events announced as part of the conference package, other games may be carried by the regional cable partners of the ACC institutions, by school websites and as part of other conference television packages. A complete listing of those games will be available at a later date.
The No. 7 Cardinals will begin the 2015 season on Friday at 3 p.m., ET against Alabama State at the Opening Weekend Challenge at Bright House Field in Clearwater, Fla. Louisville's opening weekend slate will also feature games against USF (Saturday, 6 p.m.) and No. 17 Cal State Fullerton (Sunday, 11 a.m.) with all games at Bright House Field. The Cardinals' 33-game home slate at Jim Patterson Stadium is set to begin on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 3 p.m., ET against Eastern Kentucky.
