The seniors who will be recognized are Caryle Blondell, Ryan Bohn, Addison Bray, Rudy Edelen, Aaron Young, Thomas Dahlia, Erica Belcher, Abigail Chin, Tanja Kylliainen, Emily O'Neil and Emily Stalmack. The group of 11 standouts have helped the team post dominating performances over the past four years, with the men taking last year's AAC championship and the women winning an astounding three consecutive conference championships, two in the BIG EAST (2012, 2013) and one in the AAC (2014).
Multiple Cardinals have already impressed throughout the season and boast national rankings in their respective races. Most recently, she won the 50-free, the 100-free, and was a part of the winning 200-medley relay team at the Cards' dual meet against Indiana.
Senior Tanja Kylliainen is currently ranked sixth in the nation in the 400-IM and 14th in the 200-fly. The six-time ACC Swimmer of the Week dominated in the Cards' last meet against Indiana, winning the 200-fly, the 100-fly and the 400-IM and was a member of the winning 200-medley relay team. Andrea Cottrell is building off of her successful freshman campaign in 2014 with an impressive sophomore season and is ranked 13th nationally in the 200-breast. Cottrell most recently won the 100 and 200-breast against Indiana and was a part of the winning 400-IM relay team.
The men's side has seen outstanding performances from multiple swimmers. Three of the men's relay teams are ranked within the top 10 nationally, including the No. 2 800-free relay, the No. 3 200-medley relay and the No. 6 400-free relay.
Four Cards boast top 15 event rankings for the men. Sophomore Trevor Carroll is ranked 10th in the 200-free and 11th in the 500-free, while fellow sophomore Grigory Tarasevich is ranked fifth in the 100 and 200-back. Junior Pedro Coutinho is 10th nationally in the 100-fly, while senior Thomas Dahlia is currently sixth in the nation in 200-breast and 10th in the 100-breast, two events which he won in the Cards' last meet against Indiana and Ohio State.
