Men's Tennis Wraps Up Fall Play This Weekend

Cards will play in Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Tournament and CCB Collegiate Invitational
The University of Louisville will wrap up the fall season by competing in the 2015 Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Tournament in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., and the CCB Collegiate Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
Seniors Alex Gornet and Jeffrey Brown will compete in the Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Intercollegiate which also features players from Arizona, College of Charleston, Florida Gulf Coast, Furman, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Naval Academy, North Florida, Princeton and South Florida.
"This is our first time invited to this prestigious and high-level event," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "The seniors are glad to be in another warm weather tournament at a beautiful venue."
While the seniors are in Florida, sophomore Santiago Salazar and freshmen Christian Haushammer, George Hedley, Brian Lancaster, Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff and Michael Quang will head to Birmingham, Ala. The tournament will be hosted by The Country Club of Birmingham and the University of Alabama and features players from Alabama, LSU, Middle Tennessee, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas, Troy, Tulane and UAB
"For Chris, George, Christian and Michael, this is their third tournament in a row," said Ecarma. "This type of schedule will get them ready for the spring season when we play 15 weekends in a row. Chris, George, Santi and Michael all did well last weekend and should be bringing some momentum going into our final week of the fall semester."
