Volleyball Cracks Top 25 in AVCA Poll

Cards are top in their region
The University of Louisville volleyball team cracked the AVCA Coaches Poll's Top 25 today for the first time since Sept. 1, 2014. The Cardinals debut at No. 25 in the nation.Â
ÂThe Cards, who are 12-4 overall, received votes for the last two weeks and have won 10 of their last 11 matches with a spotless 6-0 record in the ACC. UofL has been ranked in Prep Volleyball's Top 25 this year as well and moved up to No. 20 this week.

Louisville has an RPI of 17 this week and are ranked No. 1 in the Northeast Region.

The Cardinals host Wake Forest at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16 and Duke at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18 both at the KFC Yum! Center.Â
