
Men's Tennis Collects More Academic Accolades

The academic honors continue to accumulate for the University of Louisville men's tennis team as 10 players were named to the 2013-14 American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for the honor, a nominee must have competed in an American Athletic Conference-sponsored sport, attained a minimum grade-point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year, and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters of academic work.
The list of UofL men's tennis honorees includes: Eric Bonfre, Jeffrey Brown, Van Damrongsri, Amaury Derognat, Luis Elizondo, Alex Gornet, Michael Lippens, Chris Simich, Sebastian Stiefelmeyer and Albert Wagner.
The 2014 Louisville men's tennis team posted a 21-8 overall record and earned its fifth NCAA tournament appearance in the last six years.
