Men's Tennis Travels to Indiana

The University of Louisville men's tennis team will travel to Bloomington, Ind., to face Indiana University Thursday at 1 p.m.
About Louisville
The Cardinals enter the match with an 11-4 record and ranked No. 32 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings. Louisville has won its last three matches, defeating Illinois State, Chicago State and Arizona all by scores of 7-0.
Junior Michael Lippens carries a team-best 28-6 overall singles record and is 17-5 in dual matches. He is currently on a five match win streak and has won 16 of his last 17 singles matches. Chris Simich and Van Damrongsri each lead the team with 20 doubles wins.
Junior Sebastian Stiefelmeyer was named the American Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week on March 11.
Stiefelmeyer led the Cardinals to three 7-0 victories on the week, as Louisville defeated Illinois State, Chicago State, and Arizona. The junior recorded three singles wins, playing at each of the top two spots, and also added two doubles victories. He improved to 17-13 in singles and 18-9 in doubles on the year.
