
Four Players to Compete in the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship

Four Cardinals will travel to Athens, Ga. this weekend to compete in the University of Georgia's Lady Bulldog Individual Championship.
The field will compete in a 36-hole tournament at the par 71 University of Georgia Golf Course. The participants will play in threesomes and will begin the first round at 8:45 a.m. EST on Saturday, February 8. The second round will directly follow the first. Those teams that are competing with five athletes will also be playing in a team tournament against one another.
The Cardinals lineup for the Lady Bulldog Individual Championship consists of all newcomers. Redshirt junior Haley Andreas will be joined by freshmen Shannon Gramley, Emily Kurey, and Louise Oxner on the course.
Oxner led all newcomers this fall and finished fourth on the team with a 74.3 stroke average. She shot a season-low of 71 twice during the fall season, including the IU Fall Kickoff where she tied for fourth place overall.
Andreas and Kurey finished the fall season tied for sixth on the team with a stroke average of 76. Andreas shot a season low 72 during the second round of the Cardinal Cup and finished tied for eighth place at the IU Fall Kickoff. Kurey shot a season low 71 for the second round of the Cardinal Cup and ended the fall season with two Top 20 finishes. Gramley followed close behind with a stroke average of 77 while finishing tied with Andreas for eighth place at the IU Fall Kickoff. She shot a season low of 73 twice this fall.
