
Stiefelmeyer Captures Austrian Outdoor National Championship

The University of Louisville's Sebastian Stiefelmeyer captured the Austrian Outdoor National Championship on June 4.
"Anytime a player wins their country's national championship, that is a special moment," said U of L head coach Rex Ecarma. "I am so happy for Sebastian, because Austria is a proud tennis country. Sebastian has come a long way and he is a pleasure to coach. He has worked really hard for success and he deserves it."
Stiefelmeyer, a rising junior from Vienna, Austria, won three matches in straight sets en route winning the title with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Dominik Negrin.
