Men's Tennis Finishes Day Two of the ITA All-American Championships

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Louisville's Albert Wagner and Alex Gornet fell in the second round of the 2013 Saint Francis ITA Men's All-American Championships Qualifying Draw. Sebastian Stiefelmeyer picked up a wind first round of the singles consolation draw.
"Albert and Alex got off to a slow start. NC State did a good job in controlling the match and tempo," said UofL head coach Rex Ecarma. "Sebastian played more relaxed today and looked like the normal Sebastian. He made fewer errors, used a variety of shots and served well."
After a first round bye in the qualifying draw, Gornet and Wagner fell 8-3 to NC State's Nick Horton and Sean Weber.
In singles action, Stiefelmeyer rebounded from Monday's first round loss to defeat South Carolina's Thiago Pinheiro 7-5, 6-1 in the consolation draw.
