Cards Set for a Pair of Pivotal Road Matches

LOUISVILLE, Ky.- The No. 53-ranked University of Louisville men's tennis team will return to action on Friday, March 27 to begin a five-match stretch on the road to end its season.Â
The Cardinals (15-9, 3-5 ACC) will play in Chestnut Hill at Boston College on Friday, March 27 with first serve scheduled for 5 p.m. ET. Then they will have a quick turnaround to face SMU in Dallas on Sunday, March 29 at 1 p.m. ET.Â
Louisville is coming off a three-match weekend that had a 4-0 victory over Bellarmine and losses to No. 23 Stanford and No. 65 California.Â
UofL is 2-4 on the road so far this season and will have an opportunity to improve that record on Friday. The Cards have won all 11 meetings against the Eagles since joining the Atlantic Coast Conference in 2014.Â
Sunday's contest will mark the first time SMU and Louisville will meet since the Mustangs joined the ACC in 2024 and the first time in 20 years. The last time they faced off was in the 2006 NCAA tournament when the Cards won 4-0 to advance to the second round.
