What's up y'all! This is Haley!
Going in to the 5th day of pre-season today, I'm very excited and impressed with the work ethic our team has showed. This morning we started with some ball control and synchronized passing. Once we got in a rhythm, we were phenomenal at it. After that we worked on some serve and serve receive. After the morning session we got a quick 30 minute workout in with Hammer and Chad.When we finished our workout we went back to Yum for a nice cold ice bath.
After a good ice bath, we got our VILLE grill on. When lunch got over, we finally got our afternoon nap in.
We were back in the gym getting after it at 3:10. This afternoon session was mainly scrimmaging and going over lineups for our upcoming games. After practice we had a quick dinner and then some of the girls and I got to surprise and deliver tickets to our season ticket holders.
We are learning a lot in such a short period of time but were applying it to our scrimmage games in practice which is a great sign. I'm very excited for this upcoming season. We have a lot of great leaders on this team that hold each other accountable. We are going to be very successful this year, so get off your butts and come down and see us!
