Volleyball Hits the Road to Face Wright State

The University of Louisville Cardinal volleyball squad (4-2) is set to face Wright State University (3-3) this Friday at 7:00 pm in Dayton, Ohio.
The Cardinals are coming off a 2-1 weekend in the Arizona Wildcat Classic where they defeated Cal State Bakersfield and Butler 3-1. However, Louisville was unable to overcome No. 24-ranked Arizona in a hard-fought 3-2 loss (25-22, 21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 17-15) despite Lola Arslanbekova's impressive performance with 26 kills that earned her all-tournament honors along with fellow teammate Amanda Simmons.
U of L last played the Raiders in 2004 at the Raider Classic in Dayton, winning 3-0. With a 1-4 series record against Wright State, U of L looks to improve this margin by earning another victory for their 2010 season.
