Volleyball Match Time versus Notre Dame Set

The University of Louisville's volleyball match against Notre Dame in Cardinal Arena on Oct. 9 will begin at 10 a.m. Eastern time.
Cardinal officials had been waiting to for ESPN to set the start time of the Cardinal football game against Memphis, also on Oct. 9, so as not to create a schedule conflict. Kickoff will be a 2 p.m. giving Cardinal volleyball fans plenty of time to arrive at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium after the match.
"Notre Dame and Louisville have developed into a great rivalry and battled each other for a share of either the BIG EAST regular season or Tournament championship several times since joining the league," said U of L head coach Leonid Yelin. "We hope our fans will start a big day of Cardinal athletics by attending our match and then moving on to football."
