Volleyball to Have Alumni Red and White Scrimmage

The 2009 University of Louisville Cardinal Volleyball team will take on its Alumnae for a Red and White Scrimmage Saturday, August 22 at 2 p.m. in Cardinal Arena. Admission is free and the scrimmage is open to the public.
Cardinal fans will recognize Kelly McClain Garvey, Tatyana Kolesnikova, Rui Liu, Kristie Wetterer, Beth Kuhnell, Steph Marsh and Jennifer Hoffman as they break out the spandex and take on the youngsters.
"There are bragging rights on the line here," said Leonid Yelin, U of L head coach. "It is a great way to get tuned up for our first match."
U of L opens its season Friday August 28 against national power Arizona at 7 p.m. in Cardinal Arena.
